Cats Hop

Your adventure, your choices

Privacy policy

Effective October 14, 2026

Cats Hop is provided by TheSpiderDev. This policy covers the iOS and Android game and this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact om.spider.dev@gmail.com.

Your puzzle progress stays on your device. The game uses Google AdMob for ads and RevenueCat for purchases. This website has no analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies.

Game data on your device

The game stores completed levels, gold stars, difficulty, music, sound and haptic preferences, onboarding and tutorial status, and your saved puzzle state locally on your device. We do not operate a player account system, a gameplay analytics service or developer-managed cloud synchronization.

Operating-system backups may include this data according to your device settings. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove your local progress. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase data that exists only on your device.

Advertising

Cats Hop integrates Google AdMob. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, performance information and diagnostic data to provide advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Data processing depends on your consent, device settings and Google’s services. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing.

The current app requests non-personalized ads and uses Google’s consent flow where required. An “Ad Privacy Options” button appears in Settings when Google makes those choices available. You can also manage advertising identifiers and permissions in your device settings.

There are no banner ads. Interstitial ads may appear at breaks after completed puzzles. Rewarded videos appear only when you choose Hint, then Watch & Reveal. A verified Remove Ads purchase stops both types and makes hints available without watching an ad. Development and emulator testing use test ads.

Read Google’s privacy policy, how Google uses information from apps and Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure.

Purchases and restoring ownership

Apple or Google processes store payments. We do not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat validates purchases and maintains Remove Ads ownership using purchase receipts or tokens, product and transaction identifiers, purchase history and an anonymous app customer identifier. RevenueCat may also process technical request information needed to deliver its service.

No name, email address or custom customer profile is sent to RevenueCat by the current game. Purchases require a configured, available store product. Restore Purchases restores eligible Remove Ads ownership for your store account; it does not restore locally saved puzzle progress.

Store and RevenueCat records follow those providers’ retention practices. Read RevenueCat’s privacy policy, Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

This website

This is a static website with no accounts, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, advertising SDKs or contact forms. The hop demonstration runs in your browser and does not send gameplay data to a server. Images and fonts are served with the site, rather than loaded from third-party font services.

The hosting provider processes ordinary network requests, which can include IP addresses, browser headers, requested URLs and operational logs, to deliver and secure the website. External links open services that apply their own privacy policies.

Support and retention

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to reply and resolve your request, and retain correspondence while needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords or sensitive information.

Local game data remains until you clear app storage or remove the app, subject to device backups. Store purchase records and RevenueCat records may remain according to their retention policies and applicable obligations.

Your choices and requests

Privacy rights depend on where you live. Contact us with a privacy concern or a request concerning data we control. We do not sell the contents of your support emails or your locally stored puzzle progress.

Children and changes to this policy

The current game is not designed specifically for children, does not ask for birth dates and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support. A parent or guardian with concerns can contact us. Store age ratings and advertising settings must match the game’s intended audience.

We will update this policy when the game’s data practices change and revise the effective date shown above.
